Kim Gladfelter started her business physio fit in 2010 in San Jose and within a few years found herself running a clinic that was barely making $2-3 dollars per visit.

She had nearly 20 staff on her books and a huge rent to pay yet she made the brave decision to move out of network and completely change her way of doing business.

These days she is out of network with most insurances and charges $250 per session - a far cry from the $83 average she was getting a few years ago.

In this episode Kim talks about her journey, how she recruits staff with the right mindset, skills and values to survive in an out of network clinic as well as how she continues to motivate her team to perform.

Kim shares her top marketing strategies that bring in patients without having to rely upon doctors - and interestingly, how Kim has experienced that most of the patients she has the most difficulty with actually come from Doctors.

Kim has a lot of wisdom and a lot of experience with running a physio business and above all, she is living proof that it IS possible to walk away from Insurance companies any time you like. You don’t have to wait until they’ve siphoned all of the profit out of your business.
